Long Ing Farm: We have an amazing undercover Hot Tub. Large decking with fire pit.  We are surrounded by lovely walks, runs, rides. We offer farm tours where you can meet, great, and feed the animals. We also have a nature walk, tree platform and squirrel caffe.

Hade Edge: We are just on the edge of the village within easy walking distance of all amenities such as the 2 farm shops and pub The Boshaw Trout (serves food and has its own micro brewery). We have great walks or bike rides straight out of the cottage door.

Holmfith: The small market town of Holmfirth is about 2 miles away and has a variety of shops, pubs, restaurants, cafes and some small supermarkets. Throughout the year it holds many different festivals including, a Folk Festival, Beer Festival, Music Festival, Galas and a Food and Drink Festival. It boasts an excellent music venue, The Picturedrome, where you can see many bands and artists. It’s also well known for the filming of the longest running comedy series 'Last of the Summer Wine' from 1972-2010. It is possible to visit Nora Batty's house, Sid's Cafe and take a vintage bus tour of other filming locations. Holmfirth Vineyard does vineyard tours and has a cafe.

Penistone: Just a short drive we have Penistone which again has lovely shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and a Large Tesco. It also has a train station which covers Huddersfield to Sheffield and all connections beyond. Penistone Paramount Traditional Cinema is a community cinema and theatre. Besides the big film releases, there are live shows and monthly organ concerts. The cinema is also home to one of the few working theatre organs in the country. The Paramount Compton Organ has been recently rebuilt, and was the reason why the cinema was renamed from the Metro Cinema.
