Long Ing Farm Luxury 4 Bedroom 4 Bathroom Holiday Cottage
Is nestled on our working farm where you can meet and feed the animals or take the nature / adventure trail to the farm’s tree platform or picnic area. It’s set on the fringe of the Peak District, in a quiet rural location on the edge of a village with absolutely amazing views. You can walk, run, bike or just relax to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The cottage has fantastic indoor and outdoor space packed with original features with a mix of character and charm with a high end modern look and amenities.
The cottage sleeps up to 8 people plus 1 infant and a pet.
4 Bedrooms: 1 king four poster en-suite (master),1 super king zip link can be split to a twin en-suite (second master), 1 double, 1 bunk bed room which can be used for adults as well as children. 4 High End Bathrooms: 2 en-suites, 1 house bathroom , I downstairs shower room, A comfortable, beamed-ceiling lounge with 3 large sofas and log fire; a luxury well equipped dining kitchen with granite worktops, Aga, electric oven, dishwasher and American style fridge freezer; a large conservatory with additional dining and seating perfectly linking inside to outside; a large utility room with additional fridge freezer, washing machine, dryer iron etc. We are child friendly with a high chair and cot available
The cottage is down a private farm track. The outdoor spaces are all private to the cottage and incorporate a patio with dining set and additional seating, a large modern deck with fire pit and solar lighting, and an amazing outdoor room with seating and hot tub. Ample parking with provision for 3 cars at the side of the cottage and additional parking in the farm car park. The owners live on site in a converted barn if you need any assistance.
Hade Edge village has 2 farm shops and a pub with its own micro brewery which also serves great food all within walking distance. We have great view from the property over field and woods which offer great walking opportunities. Just a couple of miles away is Holmfirth which has many different festivals throughout the year and is also the home to many bars, pubs, restaurants, shops and The Picturedrome, a great music venue.
Yorkshire and the surrounding area offers many great attractions if you want to head out for the day or you might just enjoy chill and staying on the farm.
